Friendly staff made us feel welcome. The shower pressure was weak, making it hard to rinse off properly. Cozy atmosphere adds to the charm. Would recommend for its good breakfast options.

I had a fantastic stay at Bell House Hotel & Restaurant! The room was spacious and had a cozy four-poster bed, providing a comfortable night's sleep. The staff were friendly, and I particularly enjoyed the well-presented meals in the restaurant. The location in a quiet village, right opposite the church, added to the charm.
The bathroom lacked a proper shower attachment.

I had a pleasant one-night stay at The Bell during my work trip. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, particularly the manager who ensured I felt comfortable as a lone traveler. My room was tidy and comfortable, providing a good environment to rest. The dinner offered a variety of choices, and the breakfast featured locally sourced ingredients and fulfilling.
The decor in some areas felt dated.

had a great time at bell house! the building is so old n quirky, loved the oak beams n cozy fireplaces. the staff were super friendly, especially the manager chris who was so helpful. breakfast was the best, made with local produce and cooked perfectly. would totally recommend it to other peeps looking for a chill place to stay!
the bathroom could use some serious updating, not very nice at all! also, there was some noise from the bar below but earplugs helped.

The Bell has charm, especially with its stunning village location. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome, especially Chris, who was full of local history. Breakfast was a highlight, cooked with local ingredients. My room had a unique character but was badly in need of maintenance. The shower barely worked, and I struggled to get hot water. The room felt outdated and poorly equipped, like the lack of hooks and shelving. The windows were grimy, and some areas needed a thorough clean. I appreciated the ample parking, but the overall facilities, especially the bar and restaurant, being closed were a letdown. I wish I had known ahead of time because it complicated my dining plans.

Solo travelers should check it out
I stayed for one night and the staff were friendly, offering to help with anything I needed. My room was large and actually quite comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise given the price.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable for the amenities offered.

The local history shared by Chris added a nice touch to our stay. The full English breakfast was cooked to perfection and offered a delightful start to our day.
The amenities were basic and could use some updates.
